Who you’re buying from

A small shop, run from Jingdezhen.

My parents worked in one of Jingdezhen’s ceramics factories. When they were laid off, they kept working with clay at home. I grew up around it, and learned to paint porcelain there.

Qingci is the same city, the same suppliers and the same kilns — just sold directly instead of through a market stall. We’re a retailer, not a factory, and we say so: most pieces come from small studios and kilns around Jingdezhen. We check each one by hand, photograph the exact piece before it ships, and pack it ourselves in Jingdezhen.

How it travels

Porcelain travels badly when it is packed like an ordinary parcel. This is how every order actually leaves Jingdezhen — dispatched in 1–5 business days, typically 7–20 business days in transit.

Wrapped & seated

Each piece sits in its own gift box, lids and cups separated so nothing can knock together.

Suspended in a second box

The gift box goes into a corrugated outer carton with moulded foam and honeycomb wrap.

Marked fragile & tracked

Handed to a fragile-goods express line. Estimated total delivery time is 8–25 business days, including processing and transit. Your tracking number is emailed as soon as it’s on its way.

How long does delivery take?

Every order is inspected, packed and dispatched from Jingdezhen within 1–5 business days. Tracked express transit typically takes 7–20 business days depending on destination and customs. Estimated total delivery time is 8–25 business days, including processing and transit. Your tracking number is emailed as soon as the parcel is handed over.

How much is shipping?

Orders of $59 or more ship free, tracked, worldwide. Below that it is a flat $15 — or $7.90 if your order is only ceramic bracelets. The exact rate is shown in your bag before you pay.

What if something arrives broken?

Email a photo of the piece and the box to admin@porcelaincharm.com within 7 days of delivery and choose a free replacement or a full refund. Nothing needs to be sent back. Breakage terms

Can I return something?

Yes — unused items in their original packaging, within 30 days of delivery. We pay return postage if the item was broken, incorrect or not as described; for a change of mind the return postage is yours. Email us first so we can send the right instructions. Returns policy

Will I pay import duties?

Parcels ship from China. Any import duties or taxes are set by your own country’s customs and paid by the recipient. We declare every shipment accurately and can’t mark orders as gifts.

Is it really from Jingdezhen? How is it decorated?

We buy from small studios and kilns in and around Jingdezhen, Jiangxi, and pack every order there ourselves. Where a piece is a different material — stoneware, bone china or zisha-style clay — its product page says so, and each product page describes that piece’s own decoration. Kiln-fired pieces vary slightly, which is why we photograph yours before it ships.

Are the listing photos of my exact piece?

Listing images show each design and may be digitally created or edited. Glaze and painting vary slightly from piece to piece, so ask us and we will send you photos of the exact piece for your order before it ships.

Can I see my exact piece before it ships?

Yes. We photograph the exact piece for every order before wrapping. Ask when you order (or reply to your confirmation email) and we send you the photos before dispatch.

How do I pay? Is checkout secure?

Checkout is processed by Stripe: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, JCB and other major cards, plus Apple Pay and Google Pay where your device supports them. Card details go straight to Stripe and never reach our servers. Prices are in US dollars.
