Material & Craft
Each tumbler begins as a smooth porcelain-clay body dipped in a pearl-white glaze that shifts gently in the light. The flowers are not printed — they are built up in low relief and hand-tinted in watercolor pastels, so every petal catches a little shadow and each piece varies just slightly from the next.
The Making
Shaped, bisque-fired, hand-painted and glaze-fired in Jingdezhen, China’s thousand-year porcelain town. The raised petals are detailed by hand before a final high-temperature firing sets the color for good.
Care
Rinse the ceramic body with warm water and mild soap; hand wash the lid and straw. Because the piece is hand-glazed, keep it away from dishwashers, microwaves and sudden temperature swings so the relief and finish stay flawless.
The floral relief is genuinely dimensional — you can hook a fingernail under the petal edges — and it makes the tumbler easier to grip than a smooth one. It’s real ceramic, so it has the clean taste of a mug with the format of a travel cup; treat the press-on lid as splash protection, not a seal for a bag. Hand wash everything, and keep it away from the freezer.
