Material & craft

The jar has a fitted domed lid, rounded shoulders and a stable flared foot. Available artwork may feature floral scrolls or traditional animal motifs in cobalt blue.

Why we selected it

The ginger-jar silhouette is familiar for a reason: a broad body gives painters room for pattern, while the lifted lid adds height without making the footprint larger. It works alone and becomes more architectural as a pair.

Before you order

Questions buyers actually ask.

Is the lid removable?
Yes. It is a fitted porcelain lid and should be lifted by the body, not the finial.
Are the patterns identical?
Pattern placement may vary slightly between batches; the overall blue-and-white character remains consistent.

Perfect for my ritual. Exactly what I wanted for my incense. The crackle glaze is subtle and the tripod shape is classic. Good size, sits stable, and it arrived intact. The celadon tone is very calming.

Pretty AND functional. The lid seals nicely so my oolong actually stays fresh. The hand-painted blue and white is lovely, and I love that it's a working jar rather than just decoration. Came wrapped like they genuinely cared about it arriving intact.

Even better than the photo — I was nervous the colors wouldn't match the picture, but they're somehow better in person. The little cubes catch the light on their flat faces in a way round beads just don't. Mine came out coral and teal and it goes with literally everything I own. And they weren't kidding about every bead being one-of-a-kind — mine looks nothing like my friend's, and we both love that. Stretch cord, no clasp, just slips on.
