Care

Hand wash only. The gold trim must never go in a microwave, and dishwasher detergent will dull it over time. If you stack the cup on the saucer for storage, place a cloth between them.

Material & craft

Bone china fires thinner and whiter than standard porcelain, which is why the cup feels light in the hand and the cobalt-and-gold decoration reads so crisply against the body.

Why we selected it

The pattern is built in passes: cobalt florals first, then the gold berries and vines, then the filigree border tucked under the blue rim line. The scalloped saucer repeats the floral spray around its edge.
