Celadon does not need a dragon. The glaze is the picture: jade depth, ice crackle, a rim that catches light. Our modern ice-crack gaiwan is a useful example — 130 ml, reactive glaze, made to be used, not locked in a cabinet.

Crackle is not damage. It is a controlled mismatch between glaze and body as they cool. If a crackle line stains with tea over years, that is patina, not a defect. Sudden thermal shock is the real enemy: do not pour boiling water into a refrigerated cup.
